Zec des Passes

The Zec des Passes is a 1 491 km2 territory, with over 600 lakes offering a variety of fishes, mostly speckled trout, but also walleye, pike and burbot. Big and small game hunting. Primitive camping. Rowing boats for rent at the gate.

The campground has ten locations, eight of which are offered in seasonal packages and two for short-term rentals. The Zec des Passes also offers a wonderful territory for rustic camping enthusiasts.

Activities

Discover a vast territory where you can practice your favorite hobbies: fishing, hunting, canoeing, hiking and camping. La Zec des Passes offers packages for boat rental and rustic camping.

Alex River Trail

The latter is accessible year-round except during the hunting season, from late September to mid-October.

In August, remember to bring your dish to pick delicious wild blueberries!

Ecotourism site of the Petite rivière Péribonka

Access via the Lac Long reception station, 21 km from the main reception station. Access to the site is chargeable and also ensures your safety by indicating your presence on the Zec as well as the duration of your stay. The descent of the small Péribonka river is a calm and natural place. A river accessible to all, come and go downhill in a canoe, kayak, paddleboard or even see an inflatable tube.

At the ecotourism site you will find the following equipment:

  • Dock;
  • Gazebo;
  • Tent platforms (3x);
  • Outhouse.

The shuttle service is offered by Equinox Aventure under certain conditions.
