Cycling around Lac-St-Jean

Cycling through the vastness!

An oversized lake at the bend of fields, as far as the eye can see, a sea breeze to tame the midday sun, and gourmet stops to fill up on the fuel your body will need to continue discovering all the beauty of our region; this is what a typical day cycling around Lac-Saint-Jean sounds like.

Here you will find activities to make your bike tour an unforgettable experience. Alma, the starting point for your adventure on the Véloroute des Bleuets!

Cycling around Lac-Saint-Jean is...

La Véloroute des Bleuets: a 256-km loop starting in the vibrant city of Alma and taking you across plains, agricultural fields, forests and rivers with, of course, a view on the famous Lac-Saint-Jean.

An alternative way of discovering Alma Lac-Saint-Jean. Starting from Alma, take advantage of all the services available: free supervised parking lot, a luggage shuttle (upon request), and Véloroute ambassadors scattered along the cycling pathway. All you have to do is pedal away and let yourself be moved by the sound of the waves.

An accessible, easy and free route that allows you to get away from it all and immerse yourself in nature while visiting no fewer than 15 key municipalities, a local Montagnais community and the magnificent Parc national de Pointe-Taillon.

A unique experience for the whole family. In addition to having a breathtaking view on the region and navigating it differently, it is possible to organize a thematic stay with our packages.
