The secrets of our flavourful meals at Alma Lac-Saint-Jean

First, you should know that around here, meals transform into something even more delightful when they are shared: with your partner, family, or friends we eat with a group! Also, tradition dictates that the plates should be very full and the tables kept simple.

So, if you truly want to experience local food, you need a large table, several guests and local specialty meals. You could also add a delicious bottle from Verger de velours, located in Saint-Henri-de-Taillon. It is not much of a secret, but their products have won more than 15 honourable mentions for the subtlety of their aromas and the mastery of their craft.

And why not include another success story of our local gastronomy? Cheese from any of the many cheese factories in the area: St-Laurent, Médard, L’autre-Versant, Perron, Lehmann, to name only a few. Soft and aged cheeses, or even curds, cheese is very serious business here. These cheeses bear the colours of our landscape.

In fact, the secret of a good table is to let yourself be carried away by what the road, the fields and the artisans offer: pure happiness!
